We have started livelihood for the school. We now have a Piggery and we have started a Goat Farm.We will also raise ducks and chickens, to augment the support of the school. We know we can't always depend on outside support. If the livelihood succeeds, Church Planters, (our graduates) will be supported by the fund from livelihood projects.

SURVIVING GOATS

Can you believe that only seven of the goats you see in this blog have survived? Yes, four does, three bucks, (one of these is from Cebu, the other two were meant for sale but were not sold) are the survivors of the C.P.I. goats.
Most of the goats got sick. We were told that something is wrong with the soil in the farm where they were kept. Also, the 37 heads we bought for 35,500 pesos were sick, we were told later. In addition to these, the bad weather contributed to the deaths of our precious goats.
Now, we are praying that the 4 does will help us recover from our loss.
YOU MAY WANT TO HELP US RECOVER.PLEASE LET US KNOW.

UPDATE ON GOAT FARM

Goats from Cebu had arrived. Thanks to sis.Marnie, and bro.Pilmer who facilitated their shipment to Manila. Thanks to brethren, Bong Mejia, Ramil Acostar and Shervin Patricio for meeting them at the pier. Thanks to bro.Alex Coloma who came to Cavite and inspired the preachers to be involved in the Goat Ministry. Thanks to salvador who initiated the program. Thanks to the brotherhood who supports the program.
The goats are part of the program conceptualized by Salvador Cariaga. He gives a buck (male) to a certain area, and two does (female) to every family. The kids of the two does be shared by the family and the "program".These will be distributed to brethren who need extra family income.the preachers in CAvite got their share first and are committed to share the program to the brethren in Cavite and Batangas area.

C.P.I. will get a share of one buck this time. This will be added to the goat farm in Rosario,Batangas, with the hope that it will improve the race of our goats there.(At present, we have ten native goats. We will buy more this week, and add some more when fund is available)

THE PLAN FOR GOAT FARM

The Goat Farm is primarily to support the school now and the graduates who will be full-time and part-time church planters.

We will try to raise native and hybrid goats as many as we could and sell it. (Goat meat is becoming so popular now a days .People are becoming health conscious and would rather eat non-fattening meat like that of goats).
Also, we will try to raise goats for milking and sell milk for the support of the school and graduates.
The goat manure will also be used as filtelizers for the vegetable and flower garden that we will also start.
Later, we will also share the goats to families who are willing to take care of them under some conditions favorable to them and the school.
SO PLEASE. LET US COME AND GOAT TOGETHER."
